Avon Anew Concealer – Age-Transforming Concealer SPF 15

I have been using the Avon Anew Concealer – official name anew Age-Transforming Concealer SPF 15 – for a month or so and I really like it. I usually use the Medium color in everything, but in this I decided to get the Natural Neutral color, so it would be a little lighter. The neutral color has worked well for me.
Although this is called a concealer, it is really more like a highlighter. If you use concealer to lighten up your eye area, this alone may do the trick. I love the way it softly highlights the eye area, but the SPF makes it a real winner. It has very hard to find products to use around my eyes with SPF – everything I have ever tried really irritates my sensitive eyes. I have used this alone and it did bother my eyes a bit, but when I use it over my philosophy Supernatural Concealer it not only looks better, it does not irritate my eyes at all.
The concealer comes in six shades – Fair, Light, Neutral, Medium, Golden and Deep. If you have medium skin with very dark undereye circles, you may want to try the Golden, because the peach color will do a better job a concealing darkness. Otherwise I would recommend that you try a shade lighter than your normal makeup shade.
In addition to the SPF 15, which is provided by titanium dioxide and octinoxate, it also contains glycolic acid and other anti-aging ingredients. It is the correct ph for the glycolic acid to mildy exfoliate, so it does also function as a great anti-aging product. And with a $10 price tag, it is a big winner in my book.
It comes in a pen like applicator with a brush. I usually get a small drop from the brush onto my ring finger and gently pat it around my eye area. Along with using this under the eyes it can also be used about the eye, from the brow bone to the eyebrow, to highlight that ares, especially if you do not wear eye shadow on that pat of you eyes.
